Delete your TripYara account

Delete in the app

1. Open TripYara and sign in.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Scroll to Danger Zone and tap Delete Account.
4. Read the warning, tick the confirmation box and tap Delete Account.

Request deletion without the app

If you no longer have the app, you can reinstall TripYara from Google Play, sign in, and follow the steps above.

What is deleted

Trips other people own and shared with you are not deleted; you are removed from them and they stay available to their other members.

• Your profile: name, mobile number, home state and password
• Every trip you own, with its itinerary, packing list, expenses, bookings and notes
• Saved places, saved locations, vehicles, travel preferences, emergency contacts and step data
• Expenses you added, feedback, reviews and travel-data reports you submitted
• Notification device tokens and sign-in sessions

What is kept

• Trips saved on your phone for offline use stay on that phone until you remove them in Profile → Offline Data or uninstall the app.
• Records of one-time-password requests (the mobile number, time and IP address of each request) are kept, unlinked from your account, for security and abuse prevention.
• Records we must keep by law, if any, are retained only for the period the law requires.
• Routine server backups are overwritten on their normal cycle.

Delete only some data

You don't have to delete your account to remove data. In the app you can delete individual trips and remove saved places, preferences, emergency contacts and offline trips at any time.
