Fuel Plan
Know where to refuel before the gap.
On some Himalayan routes fuel stations can be hundreds of kilometres apart. The fuel plan turns your route and vehicle into an estimate you can plan around.
Fuel needed
An estimate of total fuel for the trip based on distance and your vehicle's mileage.
Estimated cost
An approximate fuel spend, so it can go into your budget early.
Suggested stops
Refuelling points along the route with distance from your start.
Your vehicles
Save your vehicles so mileage and fuel type are filled in for future trips.
Treat it as a plan, not a guarantee
- Figures are estimates. Real consumption rises with altitude, gradients, load and air-conditioning.
- Stations can be closed or out of fuel, especially in remote areas — top up whenever you get the chance.
- On long gaps, consider carrying a legally approved spare fuel container.
